Objectives

The aim of our project was to organise a large-scale gathering, with the aim of continuing the digital links begun on our United Schools tool with physical links. 100 students, headmasters and teachers from 3 cities / regions were expected in France (city of Dijon) from the 7th to the 14h of November 2023 for a week of intercultural and eco-citizen meetings.

Background

We applied to transform the digital links created between students and teachers thanks to our platform into physical links during a week of intercultural and eco-citizen meetings. The main requirements were : --> For the teachers : - To strengthen their skills, exchange experiences and best practices around education for European and global citizenship and environmental education. - Reinforce their motivation to teach by providing them with a concrete project in 2 key stages. - Support their teaching of the French language by enabling their students to practise it in immersion. - Obtain a common thread project straddling 2 school years --> For the pupils: - Raise their awareness of major global issues, including the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). - Enable them to share and discover the good ideas and actions of other students in Europe and around the world in favour of the planet. - Enable them to discover other cultures, share their own and strengthen their European and global citizenship.
