Tandem Plus applied for the YouthIES project to further its mission of promoting the social, political and economic inclusion of disadvantaged young people in 14 EU countries. Recognising the pervasive problems of social exclusion and poverty, Tandem Plus sought to draw on the diverse expertise of its network in the economic, political and educational fields to develop innovative cross-regional policies. By promoting multi-faceted partnerships, Tandem Plus has sought to strengthen social cohesion and employment opportunities, filling gaps in youth empowerment and community integration. The project is part of Tandem Plus' commitment to sharing best practice and creating effective socio-economic initiatives on a European scale.
