Background

Our project emerges from recognizing the transformative power of information and communication technologies on education and the global landscape. Our school serves students aged 14-18,offering diverse vocational programs in tourism, business and management, gastronomy, electrical engineering, fashion design, and civil engineering. To foster a competitive, knowledge-based economy, our strategic plan emphasizes professional development for our teachers and the adoption of innovative teaching methods. Through in-service training and participation in Erasmus+ projects, we aim to enhance our educators' ability to use technology effectively in their teaching.A needs analysis within our school revealed that although 58% of our teaching staff use technology and Web 2.0 tools in education, there is a need for further training and support. This highlights the importance of our project in addressing these gaps and empowering teachers to proficiently use ICT tools like smart boards and mobile devices to boost student engagement and participation. Our project and organizational context reflect a proactive approach to the demands of the digital age, integrating and innovative teaching methods to foster student success and global competitiveness
