We wanted teachers to develop new teaching strategies about sustainable development. We wanted to introduce new digital tools with which we will modernize classes and achieve better student motivation for acquiring knowledge. Through the project, we wanted to improve awareness of the European dimension by encouraging intercultural cooperation and getting to know other educational systems. We wanted to raise awareness of the need for joint action in environmental protection for the benefit of the entire community and to familiarize ourselves with the European Green Plan. Through the achievement of these goals, we wanted to enrich our school curriculum with more quality and meaningful activities, since the school is located in a rural area where students have reduced opportunities.
We want to make a turn from the traditional transmission of knowledge towards innovative, new teaching methods: research and project teaching, teamwork and purposeful use of ICT. To improve teaching through continuous improvement and sharing of good teaching practice. Although most employees are not ready to go on mobility, there are motivated group of teachers to use innovative teaching methods and to use digital technology in teaching. They are willing to share their knowledge through collegial observation - visiting classes with fellow teachers and holding workshops. Make contacts with schools in Europe and achieve our goals through cooperation and exchange of experience. The result should be motivated students who make international contacts with their peers, become stronger self-confidence, improve communication and presentation skills through activities in new Erasmus projects.
