We wanted to raise awareness about environmental issues among our students and staff by introducing new initiatives and sustainable practices as a whole school approach. We wanted to engage in international cooperation of staff and students in the long run. We wanted to increase our capacity by exposure of ous staff and students to best practicies in European context. We also wanted to strengthen the network of local partners who share the same idea, thus becoming valuable green player within our community. We wanted to make better use of around school area, possibly to make an outdoor classroom. We wanted to find partners in local area who share the same ideas in their work and cooperate with them in order to become visible green advocate within our community. We wanted to encourage entrepreneurship among students and make our Student Cooperative more noticable within entire school and at local events. We wanted to empower our participants to start green KA2 project and to build upon our educational capacity. We believe that we have largly succeeded in the tasks set forth.
Our mission is to encourage students in actively engaging with their environment, emphasizing sustainability and making foundation to future more responsible and eco-friendly individuals. Although we have alrealy had experince in green projects they somehow remained unrecognized within local community or even within our own organisation. We wanted our efforts to become larger and to increase the number of green initiatives and expose our teachers and students to international collaboration. We are newcomer in Erasmus+ network and eager to participate in the network and learn from the likeminded professionals. We hope that the exposure to the international environment weill reduce the unease our staff has in using English. Also, we wanted a holistic approach towards green projects and include more staff members and students into new practices. We wanted to use our school environment more and incorporate it in every day teaching pratices so we could provide more opportunities for promoting sustainability. We also wanted to teach students about resource efficiency, waste reduction and recycling by developing entrepreneurship skills of students within Student Cooperative.
