Objectives

In order to encourage a positive school climate, the project focused on developing the skills of classroom teachers and professional associates related to informal learning methods. Informal learning methods are complementary in working with young people and in a formal environment, in order to encourage their personal development. They are especially applicable in the organization of class teachers and planning extracurricular activities for students. Professional development in this area enabled school employees to better recognize the needs of students, organize additional activities in accordance with the identified needs, and become competent in leading class communities. The positive school climate is also reflected in the active participation of students in solving problems and organizing school life. Active students express their needs and recognize problems and contribute to changes in their immediate environment. The student council representing students, encourages recognition of problems and proposes new solutions through cooperation with others school authorities.

Class teachers who should be the first to recognize the students' difficulties and plan further work in order to solve the problem. The work of class teachers is not sufficiently recognized, and professional development is occasional and content-oriented. Professional service provides support for classroom teachers, but group management skills require constant improvement and adaptation. Quality communication includes listening to needs and reacting accordingly. Students who do not have enough experience in solving problems in their environment, are unwilling to solve problems through cooperation.
