Background

We applied for this project to address various needs identified within our organization and among our partners. RITE sought to provide comprehensive technological solutions to educators and institutions, especially in early childhood education, as part of their commitment to research and innovation. CMP needed EU-funded opportunities to develop pedagogical tools, upskill staff, and establish collaborations across the EU to modernize early childhood education through non-formal methodologies. Their specific focus was on enhancing their daily work at their children’s daycare center. Varpelis kindergarten recognized the imperative for digital transformation in education and aimed to innovate teaching methodologies, particularly in STEM subjects, to equip young learners with competencies relevant to the future. By forming a consortium with international and cross-sector partners, we aimed to harness diverse expertise and experiences to create innovative educational tools that address the evolving needs of early childhood education, promoting competency-based learning in STEM and contributing to the cultivation of essential skills for the digital era.
