Background

DEC initiated the project "To enhance 21st Century Teaching & Learning in Digitisation, Inclusion & Diversity in North Dublin Schools" as part of our broader EU Internationalisation Strategy. This aligns with both National and EU educational policies, focusing on advancing 21st Century teaching and learning methodologies. DEC established a dedicated EU team to design and implement its EU strategy, aiming to bring essential opportunities for CPD and educational enhancement to the Centre. Our project serves as a launching pad for DEC's ambitious EU Vision and Mission, offering professionals a transformative journey of CPD, self-discovery and European exploration. In association with European ERA, an organisation highly regarded for its expertise, DEC commenced this endeavour. Significant resources have been invested to reach this pivotal point, with the project symbolising a milestone celebration for the Centre. DEC aspires to position itself at the forefront of EU education policy, ensuring full alignment with EU priorities and policies as outlined in its four core objectives. This context underscores DEC's proactive approach to enhancing educational practices through European engagement and innovative teaching methodologies.
