Objectives

We aim to achieve the three objectives stated in this application, these are: 1. Students will collaborate and communicate on study modules and apply them in bespoke real-world scenarios. 2. To build on the learning of the EU-funded Danish EMEU project for virtual learning platforms, and to develop new content our Interlab website http://www.interlab.nu/to devise study modules with strong work-based experiences 3. To enhance collaborations with international and national partners to create further linkages between VET and HE and Industry which will strengthen ties to the labour market and enable participants to be work ready. A further objective is to achieve, through application for Erasmus + accreditation, sustainable mobilities into the future.

Background

We wish to extend our work-based experiences to our learners at an international level. We are making this application to extend a very successful Eramus+ virtual collaboration and staff mobility with Graafschap College We will build a new opportunity to study work-based modules, creating a blended experience of virtual. physical and work-based learning. This simultaneously builds on the positive legacy of online learning, whilst affording much need opportunities for learners to travel and engage at a European level. We are keen to scaffold the partnerships already built with the hosting organisations, to engage with new hosts and to pivot the learning from online to blended and on-site real world work placements which offer a more seamless transition to the labour market.
