The College of Further Education and Training, Hospitality Campus, Limerick Education Training Campus Mobility project addresses priorities such as international mobility and the promotion of European cooperation for the development of core skills that contribute to economic growth, as set out in Europe 2020 and Ireland's National Strategy 2025. Language skills have been identified as high-demand skills in the Irish market. The LCETB FET sector aims to provide programs to meet the skills needs of the local and national market. As a major provider of FET programs within the LCETB FET Service, the Hospitality Campus is committed to developing a European dimension and recognizes the value international mobility can play in the development of core skills and knowledge through lifelong learning, as outlined in the LCFE Strategic Plan. The Campus is also committed to expanding its foreign language provision and encouraging learners to take foreign languages as a subject. These goals also contribute to priorities set out in Europe 2020 and Ireland's National Skills Strategy 2025, as well as the LCETB FET Service Strategic Plan. Erasmus Plus funding has enabled the Hospitality Campus to strengthen and expand these partnerships.
