Our aim is to offer our users, especially those with fewer opportunities, the opportunity to always acquire new knowledge and skills also through international classes that allow comparison with people from other countries: this happens both through online lessons and in person when foreign delegations are received for courses or job shadowing. Furthermore, we consider European integration very important: we try to make people understand that diversity must be considered a resource. We have therefore worked on the meaning and importance of being able to exercise active citizenship by creating dedicated moments both during our conferences and seminars and by encouraging communication during the mobilities. The participants who took part in the mobilities were chosen based on their availability, the training courses they attended, their study of the English language and their social situation.
Our users are mainly adults and seniors who want to continue learning and sharing their knowledge in the environment in which they live. Here are some examples of our courses: financial education, computer science, how to recognize fake news, public speaking, Debate, foreign languages, Italian for foreigners, yoga, pilates, water laughter yoga, macramé, shadow theater, fitness for over 60s. Alongside these courses, there are special projects that allow participants to combat loneliness and learn about the environment through walks with nature guides and personal trainers. Visits to art exhibitions are also promoted, preceded by a series of introductions to better understand what you are going to see (activity carried out in Italian and English). We promote inclusion and offer free courses to people with fewer opportunities. European mobility is active, initially with KA2 projects and now also with KA1 projects.
