The EmpowerME project aimed to promote gender equality in access to the labor market and education, as well as the empowerment of women. The general objectives of this project were: the creation of opportunities to raise awareness among young people through a structured training course focused on feminism and gender equality and through the creation of a tool to be used for educational purposes. This objective was achieved through the involvement of schools and and indirectly with non profit entities (ETS, ONG etc...) that work with the target group in question.
Participation in this project stemmed from a deep awareness of the challenges young women in Europe face today. In a constantly evolving social context, the need to promote female empowerment and gender equality emerged as fundamental tools for the personal and professional fulfillment of every girl. This project responded to this need through a multi-faceted approach. Firstly, it aimed to provide young women with the necessary tools to develop self-confidence, belief in their abilities, and their potential. Training courses and awareness-raising activities developed in the target group an awareness of self-worth and aspirations, encouraging a proactive attitude in building their future. Through non-formal activities and the use of an innovative educational tool, the project aimed to provide young women with the skills and abilities necessary to face the challenges of the modern world. In an era characterized by rapid changes and increasing complexity, it was necessary to provide the participant target group with the tools to adapt and innovate.
