Background

The main objective of our project, in alignment with the priority of "Promoting inclusiveness and diversity in education, and non-discrimination," has been to empower female students by equipping them with STEM skills from an early age. This has included enhancing their cross-skills and green skills, fostering interest and awareness in STEM careers, and ultimately enabling them to participate actively in science and technology in the future. By addressing the gender disparities in STEM education, our project has sought to create an inclusive environment where female students have been encouraged and supported to pursue careers in these critical fields. Through targeted activities, strategic planning, and the development of a digital network, partners have aimed to break down gender stereotypes and ensure that girls have had the necessary tools and opportunities to thrive in STEM. Our commitment to this objective has reflected our dedication to fostering diversity and non-discrimination in education, with the broader goal of contributing to sustainable development and economic growth by preparing a new generation of female leaders in science and technology.
