Background

Storytelling and multimedia stimulate active engagement, self-expression, emotional growth, and metacognition. They allow us to make sense of the world around us, foster the creation of a sense of community among young people, and build bridges to others, countering stereotypes, prejudices, and social barriers. At a time when educational systems are increasingly fragile, innovation in teaching practices is essential to ensure effective learning. Mediascapes through the experimentation and promotion of Transmedia storytelling wants to contribute to a change in the educational systems. This approach aims to foster non-formal learning and develop key skills, with particular attention to students facing disadvantageous situations or those with special educational needs. The Project operates in areas with high dropout rates and social and economic challenges that limit the full development of young people and teachers. For this reason, embracing the creative and emotional aspects of learning is crucial. The European dimension plays a key role in overcoming cultural and social barriers, creating new opportunities for all the partners and beneficiaries involved.
