Objectives

Background

This was the context of our project: We had made this application to obtain resources enabling our organization to organize training courses and workshops for employees. After this project, they gained skills to deal effectively with online discrimination, afrophobia, and racism. They were also made aware of the dangers of cyber-discrimination. Additionally, our employees learned how to shape local and national policies by establishing contact with politicians and policymakers. They learned how to utilize social media to cultivate their positive self-image, thereby creating a favorable public perception of themselves. They acquired the ability to create compelling videos and photos with limited resources, enabling them to respond substantively to discriminatory provocations on social media. In summary, they learned to capture photos and videos to enhance their self-image and engage in policy advocacy.
