1. To learn new teaching techniques on how to deal with level differences in the classroom so that the entire team can implement these techniques. 2. To strengthen digital skills in two teachers, who will take on leadership roles in guiding the rest of the team to achieve the same level of digital competence. 3. To learn from similar schools how they address educational challenges at the organizational level and implement these strategies within our school.
Our school is located on a small island, where resources and opportunities can be limited, particularly in terms of professional development and access to diverse educational practices. As a result, our teachers often face challenges in addressing varying levels of student abilities, integrating digital tools, and managing educational demands with limited local support. Given this context, our project aimed to enhance our staff’s skills in differentiated teaching, digital literacy, and organizational strategies by learning from other European schools facing similar challenges. We focused on sending teachers to participate in international mobility activities to gain new insights, methods, and tools that could be implemented back home. Our school’s small size means that every improvement in teaching practices or digital competence has a significant impact on the overall quality of education we can provide. Through this project, we aimed to bring back practical, innovative solutions that would empower our team and ultimately benefit our students, ensuring that our school remains adaptive and forward-thinking despite its remote location.
