The unexpected and sudden development of our age makes it difficult for adults who refrain from non-formal education or do not have access to education to adapt to these social changes. Through our project SECURE-SELF we wanted to provide adults in a socioeconomically disadvantaged situation with skills related to teaching about learning through creative methods and social equality. The main goal of the project is "developing the skills of adults to use virtual platforms as a creative and cultural environment for informal learning.
Our project was initiated to address critical gaps in adult education, particularly in relation to technological environments where there is a significant disparity in learning. The main needs that led us to apply for this project include: - Socio-economic and cultural disadvantages Adults face systemic socio-economic and cultural challenges. These shortcomings are international in scope and require a joint, transnational response. - Enhancing self-directed learning Need for a transnational perspective, to refine and improve the andragogic method approach, making it more effective for different adult populations. - Diverse practices for lifelong learning Need for diversity, enriching the content and approach of the project, offering a broader perspective and more stable support. - Innovative Approaches to Sociocultural Disadvantages Need for a new approach by applying the method of self-directed learning to eliminate sociocultural disadvantages among adults. - Interdisciplinary and integrative activities Need for activities designed to be interdisciplinary, including non-formal learning, use of social media. - Innovative evaluation methods Innovative methods in the evaluation of the project
