To address the gender gap in leadership, focusing on disadvantaged women, this project aims to boost their empowerment and raise awareness about challenges they face. Despite efforts, womens representation in top positions remains below desired levels, hindering both gender equality and leadership effectiveness. By supporting women's professional development and enhancing their leadership skills, the project aims at empowering them to address gender inequalities in their different workplaces. At the same time, it seeks to gather support from stakeholders to combat gender disparities and promote inclusivity. Additionally, it aims to develop recommendations to address trends perpetuating gender inequalities, fostering proactive efforts for a more inclusive environment conducive to female leadership in future.
We applied for this project because of its alignment with our values and goals. It addresses critical needs such as supporting disadvantaged women in accessing leadership positions, promoting gender equality, and fostering cross-border cooperation. The project aims to empower women in the border region by developing their management and leadership skills, building confidence through art-based personal development, and reducing systemic barriers to their career advancement. It also improves the capabilities of organisations such as Fractality to offer good trainings and to provide quality education and training for women with disadvantages and encourages the participants in their different positions themselves to realize offers that serve that aim. Furthermore, the project seeks to establish partnerships with European organizations to broaden its impact and promote institutional development in the border region. Overall, the project's objectives resonate deeply with our commitment to empowering marginalized groups (especially women) and promoting inclusive and diverse leadership.
