This was to be achieved by equipping educators with the necessary skills and methodologies. Development of Educational Resources: -Report: Produce a report with the outcomes of a study into the relevant aspects of guidance and support for pupils with a migration background. -Blueprint: Develop a blueprint for an (e-based) educational pathway for professionals working with these pupils. -Teacher Training: Train a group of 10 teachers through an experimental pathway, enabling them to acquire additional insights and qualifications necessary to support pupils with a migration background. -Transnational Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Enhance cooperation and knowledge sharing between educational institutions in the Netherlands and Türkiye, allowing partners to learn from each other’s practices and improve the educational support systems for migrant pupils.
We applied for the project "Everybody Should Have a Chance" to address the educational challenges faced by pupils with a migration background. These pupils often experience significant difficulties in achieving success and social integration due to their diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. The project aims to enhance the educational capabilities of educators and foster inclusion within the school education systems in the Netherlands and Türkiye. The overarching goal is to contribute to better inclusion of migrant pupils by developing specialized educational pathways for educators, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and methodologies to support these pupils effectively. This initiative also seeks to bridge intercultural, intergenerational, and social divides, promoting equality and non-discrimination in education.
