During the COVID-19 pandemic, people faced situations where they did not know what the future would hold for them. They had to adapt to a new way of life that continues to some extent today, such as switching to an online learning and working system, not being able to meet face-to-face with their loved ones, not being able to spend time with them, quarantining at home. They gave up their usual routine. Uncertainty, isolation, insecurity, mourning, loss of income and fear affected the mental health of individuals. Naturally, people took additional precautions to keep their minds and bodies healthy. According to the World Federation of Mental Health, the COVID-19 pandemic "has had long-lasting consequences and effects on the mental health of all people, and has hit the general population with surprisingly increased stress" (2020). Pushpendra Kumar, a research assistant from Mewar University Gangrar, mentioned in his article "Effect of Yoga on Mental Health of Adolescents" that the two main dimensions of emotional and behavioral problems observed in adolescents and youth are internalizing problems arising from distress. These are forms of depression, anxiety, as well as behavioral and academic externalizing problems. Yoga is a fundamental goal to achieve physical and mental well-being (https://bit.ly/33ugTha). In the same article, the author mentioned that yoga can also be a tool for personal development. Research has shown that consistent yoga practices positively improve depression and increase serotonin levels. The specific objectives of the mobility were: -To raise awareness among participants about the causes of emotional distress and how it affects individuals' mental health by offering yoga-centered solutions. -To inform the participants about yoga techniques that will provide personal development. Creating a 3-month study plan to take care of mental health with the help of yoga. -To teach the fundamentals of yoga to help improve the mental health of participants and to encourage them to practice yoga. -In the second part of the mobility, it was aimed to increase the quality of life of the participants with yoga practices and the main goals were: -Recognizing yoga as an essential tool for contributing to the stability of mental health by the participants. -Practicing mindfulness while instructing participants on the positive psychological effects of yoga. -To provide an optimistic attitude to guide young people and motivate their personal development.
