Millions of people abandon their homes and nations due to human rights violations, internal unrest, conflicts, challenging living circumstances, and wars. The UNHCR estimates that 35 million refugee children under the age of 18 are unable to exercise their rights. Consequently, families with refugee and asylum seeker children travel to Europe for better education and employment. Unfortunately, local residents in the nations of destinations mistreat children who have made it to the country. Children with special needs are more sensitive to environmental factors due to their age, exposure to violence, sense of not being safe, the disintegration of family and societal structures, and lack of food and educational resources. In such conditions, not taking any measures may turn today's vulnerable children into hazardous people in the future. Therefore, people should be aware of and develop a common sense of children's essential rights to survive without discrimination, including education, health, play, freedom, and protection from physical, psychological, and sexual exploitation. Thus, this project aimed to educate young people about the issues that refugee children face, educate and create awareness about the rights of children, raise awareness among young people that every child has the same rights regardless of religion, language, or race, and increase young people's motivation and competence to take action at the point of inclusion in the problem of child rights violations. Alongside, this project aimed to create solidarity among young people, promote tolerance, and enhance their skills and attitudes to strengthen social cohesion, particularly in the European Union. It boosted diversity by bringing together people from different nations and allowing them to share their views. Further, we wanted to encourage young people's active involvement in social life, allowing them to be more self-assured and entrepreneurial in addressing contemporary issues. Finally, we also put our efforts into defending European ideals and eliminating misconceptions, raising awareness about the refugee difficulties, intercultural communication, human rights respect, and young people's willingness to take action on social issues. This project will lead to an enhanced sense of belonging to Europe and bring European ideals to the top.
