The goals of this training was to train 32 youth workers from six different countries with different personal and professional backgrounds, all being active as multipliers in their organizations, in diverse outdoor-educational methods by teachings and sharing best practice from all participating organizations and also by evaluating together different concepts and procedures. Not only do outdoor projects rarely take place in youth work in this days, when they do, they often lack a sound pedagogical concept and clear goals. To change this was a goal of this training. The task was to focus on the social aspects and goals that can be associated with well-done outdoor activities. This project also aimed to reach as many other youth work organizations and youth workers as possible and to familiarize them with the ideas and topics of nature and experiential outdoor education in youth work. Another motivation to organize this training was to give the opportunity to share experiences, to network and to establish new partnerships between organizations from different countries.
