Background

The Erasmus project Good morning teachers was directed at the teachers teaching in Zespół Szkół no 2 in Lubartów. Its main aim is improving the language skills and competences of the teachers taking part in the project. All foreign language teachers had a unique opportunity to refresh their foreign language and its many aspects, such as pronunciation, accent and vocabulary, thanks to which their knowledge of a given foreign language is even better. Teachers of subjects other than foreign languages had an opportunity to start learning English from scratch or continue learning it years after their last attempt. There are roughly 70 teachers teaching in our organisation and 22 of them took part in the project. Our school is a secondary school specialising in teaching students both academic subjects and IT in a technical college which is also a part of our school. We follow the national curriculum for the 4th stage of education and prepare students for their final exam (the so-called matura exam) and the vocational exam.
