Background

Zespół Szkół in Parchowo consists of a kindergarten and a primary school. 'Be the school of future' project was implemented by the primary school. The institution has 290 students aged 7-15. Among them, there is a group of 70 students with various types of disabilities and 12 students taught in the special school program (SEN) in 3 integration classes. The school staff are 32 teachers and 14 administration and not pedagogical staff. The school diagnosis showed that the biggest institution’s problems: - unsatisfactory results in final exams, - a growing number of students with health, physical, mental or intellectual disabilities, - insufficient digital competences of students and teachers, - too low language competences of students and teachers, - insufficient environmental awareness of students - too low level of internationalization of the school. The project had 33 mobilities, including: 2 group mobilities for 14 students, 9 job shadowing and 10 courses and training for teachers. Participating in the Erasmus+ program is a way to solve school problems, increase the quality of the school's work and the prestige of the institution. Currently the school has a bigger influence on local education policy.
