By implementing this project, we wanted to achieve the following goals: - improving the language competences and skills of teachers - we wanted to improve the language skills of teachers teaching English and expand the language competences of other teaching staff; - development of the bilingual teaching system and the International Baccalaureate system - we wanted bilingual teachers to continue to improve their knowledge and skills and to increase the number of not only these teachers but also the staff in the IB DP system; - wider use of modern technologies in the teaching process - we wanted teachers to acquire practical skills in various types of applications, programs and tools; - wider international cooperation - we wanted teachers to cooperate with teachers from other countries, learn their good practices in order to implement their own projects.
In High School with Bilingual Classes in Boguchwala, an 18-month long project was implemented (01/04/2023 - 30/09/2024) called "Continuous staff development is the key to the further development of the School", which assumed mobilities of 9 teachers and their participation in two-week trainings. The project was the implementation of the constant search for new directions and development opportunities for the School. The Erasmus+ program is a tool thanks to which we can achieve specific goals resulting from the needs of the School, which has been conducting its educational activities since September 1, 2010. The main activities of the School are comprehensive, bilingual teaching, teaching related to the IB DP International Baccalaureate program, development of the use of modern technologies in the education process and the process of internationalization of the institution. Students aged 15 to 19 attend our School. Our students prioritize language competences and development opportunities that are different than in other, traditional schools. These are students from almost the entire Podkarpacie region and students with migration experience. The high school is a small, safe school with a family atmosphere.
