Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to: - shape students who are open to the world, feel responsible for our planet, and are ready to co-create a world free from conflicts and wars; - develop an attitude of openness to diversity, creativity, critical thinking and problem solving using new technologies; - introduce changes in the area of education by conducting training on innovative teaching models, experiments and observing work in foreign institutions; - build good relationships and methods of cooperation among the teaching staff; - stimulate teachers' creativity, inventiveness and openness, encourage them to acquire new professional skills and expand their knowledge in the field of education; - develop key competences, manifested in well-organized project work, as well as innovative methods of working with students; - learn to prepare students to understand and solve real problems, not just teach for exams; - gain practical knowledge in the field of digitalization so that technologies can be widely used in our school; - develop social competences needed to live in a multicultural environment.
The project "A school where everyone will find their idol" was implemented at the Primary School No. 368. "Polish Olympians" is a series of activities ensuring the comprehensive development of the facility's employees, following in the footsteps of Polish Olympians and becoming idols for their students. The implementation of the project contributed to changing the way we operate in the field of education. Teachers' participation in training on innovative teaching models, experiments and observations in foreign institutions broadened their horizons and allowed them to better understand the changing world and the needs of young people. Thanks to appropriate education, we can provide our students with the competences necessary for comprehensive development. The project's recipients were teachers and administrative staff of the facility. The planned mobilities allowed for the implementation of six training courses and two foreign observations in the form of job shadowing. Our school educates students at the first and second stages of education. In our daily work, we emphasize the special role of our patrons - Polish Olympians, who can be idols for young people, as well as a source of inspiration for teachers.
