The "LevelUp" project aimed to address the identified needs of students, teachers, and the organization as a whole. The first goal was to enhance the professional competencies of teachers, particularly in the areas of modern teaching methods, mediation, negotiation, and working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. In light of the challenges posed by post-pandemic education and the influx of students from Ukraine, it was necessary to support teachers in improving their pedagogical skills and ability to work in international environments. The second important goal was to improve the linguistic competencies of students and teachers. Communication in English is crucial for implementing international activities, and its development was a key project priority. Another goal was to build cultural awareness among students and teachers, leading to breaking stereotypes, fostering openness to diversity, and preparing participants for life in a globalized world. The project also aimed to strengthen the school’s international cooperation network by developing partnerships with Portuguese and Maltese organizations, creating opportunities for future international projects.
