Through the implementation of the project at the school, we wanted to further develop and show the local community that we are a school open to European projects. We also wanted our pupils to develop the key competences needed in the future labour market. Participation in the project was also an opportunity to develop innovative methods of work, which in the future will be used in the teaching process at school, especially in the lessons of the basics of entrepreneurship or the new subject that entered schools in the school year 2023/24 - business and management. We also wanted to exchange experiences with another school in the European Union and learn about the working methods within the framework of entrepreneurship in a different school. Through participation in the project, we wanted our pupils to build acquaintanceships and friendships, correct interpersonal relations with respect for cultural differences, and for our pupils to become accustomed to the international environment through contact with peers from another country. These activities are very important in the context of the war in Ukraine, and the whole EU should be united to be able to counteract various dangers. Through the project we wanted our students to develop
The title of the projects is Own business as a route to future success. The project lasted 12 months from 1.01.2023 to 31.12.2023. The project involved 30 students and 6 teachers from the school, and there were two group mobilities of 15 students and 3 tutors each at a partner school from Spain, namely IES de Fene. The school in Spain is a school with which we have collaborated on various projects for many years. We are a secondary school, a high school from Łódź, with 650 students and 54 teachers. We are a school where we have been trying to participate in various projects from Erasmus+ and other programmes for several years. In the school year we have 22 class divisions, with the following profiles: tourism and sightseeing, theatre, journalism, film and dance, and pro-health. Thanks to our participation in European projects in recent years, the school's reputation is growing and the school is increasingly popular with applicants, namely primary school pupils. Our secondary school is attended by students aged 14-19, mostly living in or near Łódź, but it should also be noted that we have a group of about 50 students living in boarding schools or hostels, these people come from small towns in the Łódź region.
