The implementation of the project was a response to the needs of young people from Pelplin commune who had not previously been involved in extracurricular projects. The jointly planned project activities were intended to interest young people in the subject of greater life activity and their own development, both locally and in the national and European dimension. The aim of the project was to create opportunities for involvement and participation in the social life of your region, country and Europe. The activities carried out, such as meetings at the club, trips, meetings with volunteers, facilitated the establishment of mutual relationships among participants and with partners from Europe. Preparing activities, planning, promotion, and dealing with matters related to individual activities developed the organizational, digital and creative skills of project participants. Participation in national mobilities contributed to the development of creativity and teamwork, expanded young participants' knowledge about the legal aspects of the activities of youth councils, the activities of non-governmental organizations, volunteering and opportunities for trips, education and work under European programs addressed to youth. The activities carried out promoted activity, democratic values and openness to other cultures. Involvement in individual activities allowed the development of language skills (contacts with partners from Germany, Macedonia, volunteers from Europe coming to Poland). As a result of the activities carried out, it was possible to activate some young people who had previously been socially passive. New people joined the club during the project implementation period. Project participants are happy to share their experiences with new members. The youth club is a place for regular meetings, workshops, organization of trips and other activities.
