Background

Foundation Ignacy Krasicki's XBW (FXBW) carries out activities aimed at supporting Poland's economic development and promoting good practices in the field of CSR and ESG. FXBW's key activities focus on education and supporting business, including MSMEs, in developing knowledge and skills, creating ESG strategies and new business models using innovative solutions and effective management methods. We applied for funding for our project to develop the competences of people associated with FXBW and stakeholders in the field of educational activities regarding CSR and ESG. We noticed a huge gap in the level of education and training in the field of sustainable development among the SME sector, therefore the key objective of the activities was to develop solutions for entrepreneurs, especially from the SME sector, allowing them to acquire knowledge in the field of ESG - including, among others: reports, training programs, case studies, podcasts, workshops, ESG manual. Building a partnership allowed for: 1) a much better understanding of European markets in terms of solutions in the ESG area 2) acquiring institutional partners for further international cooperation 3) exchange of experiences and good practices.
