We have assumed the development of tools and methods of work with people who want to establish or run a social enterprise in rural areas. The partners creating the project have experience in working with social enterprises, also in rural areas, and are struggling with the problems of adequate forms of support for social enterprises operating in rural areas. Assumed goals to be achieved: - Learning about Italian solutions in the field of the development of social entrepreneurship in rural areas (a study visit to Italy on 06-09.10.2023 to social enterprises in rural areas) - Preparation of a model for supporting the development of the social economy in rural areas by working on ready-made business models - Preparation of a training program on business models of social enterprises in rural areas - Testing the implementation of the developed support model by organizing a training
We deeply believe that social economy is a very effective tool in the development of local activity and entrepreneurship in rural areas. Based on our experience in this area and available analyses and reports, we can determine the barriers to the development of social economy. We have extensive experience and knowledge in the area of problems faced by non-governmental organizations and social enterprises in rural areas. More and more such organizations are being liquidated and go bankrupt because they are unable to cope on their own with the specifics of this type of activity and are unable to effectively compete on the market. This project is a response to the problems of social enterprises as a result of which they go bankrupt, have problems with retaining employees, and defining development strategies. Currently, the market lacks a set of good practices and business models that would be used in running a social enterprise in rural areas.
