Objectives

The project implemented a series of structured activities across four key Work Packages. First, under Project Management, we ensured smooth coordination, quality assurance, and monthly partner monitoring. In the second phase, led by CRSLaghi, we conducted EU-level research using design thinking to identify employability barriers and motivational needs among NEETs. Based on this, Edu Compass and Fifty-Fifty developed step-by-step career roadmaps in humanities, outlining realistic pathways to jobs and training, tailored to the target group's emotional and cognitive profile. Simultaneously, Eurospeak and Fifty-Fifty designed and developed the Human Jobs gamified platform, including 50 video lessons and job-how content. Finally, dissemination activities included testing with end users, reaching youth organisations in each country, and promoting the platform through multiplier events and social media to ensure impact and sustainability.

Background

We applied for the Human Jobs project to respond to the growing exclusion of NEET youth and young people with slight physical disabilities. Our work showed that this group often lacks motivation, self-esteem, and access to meaningful career paths. Many feel unfit for the job market, anxious about starting work, and disconnected from available opportunities. However, they often express a strong desire to help others and are drawn to careers in the humanities—such as psychology, social work, and education—but lack guidance to access them. The project addressed these needs by creating a gamified platform combining storytelling, NLP techniques, and clear, step-by-step job-readiness tools. It offers practical support and motivation while building users’ confidence. Promoting inclusive and meaningful employment options, the project supports youth in reclaiming agency over their future and entering the labour market in a way that reflects their interests and potential.
