Objectives

The main objective was to provide students with a wide range of experiences, with active participation, so that they can increase their awareness of issues related to water in the environment, and independently and autonomously adopt attitudes and values aimed at its protection and conservation. Motivate our students and the entire school community that surrounds them, to adopt a deeper, more careful and responsible attitude towards one of Europe's most valuable resources: water.

Background

In a context of climate change, it is essential that citizens are aware of the problems associated with water scarcity and that we can all contribute to promoting the balance of the water cycle. This was the main reason for implementing this project. We addressed the following needs: Raising awareness in the school community about the importance of water conservation. Providing students with a variety of experiences, with active participation, so that they can increase their awareness of water issues in the environment and autonomously adopt attitudes and values aimed at its protection and conservation. Raising awareness that water should not be wasted or polluted. Contributing to the formation of conscious citizens, capable of making decisions and taking action in the face of the reality that the world is facing: pollution and water scarcity.
