Through the implementation of the "Zero effects of Environment Changes" project, we followed the development of the competences of adult education trainers, necessary for carrying out activities to prevent the effects of climate change. We wanted to increase the trainers' motivation to expand their capacity to design and carry out activities aimed at developing and expanding the organizational and operational capacity of our organization. Increasing the motivation of adults for involvement in activities and actions aimed at the environment and circularity, with permanent impact as a lifestyle and economy. We focused on creating a guide that includes 20 non-formal activities, usable in the community and in European partnerships, to support the transfer of knowledge and skills. Our objectives aimed, as a whole, to develop the skills, motivation and active involvement of adult education trainers and adults in the prevention of climate change.
The context of the "Zero effects of Environment Changes" project was defined by the urgent need to address the problems caused by climate change and to develop sustainable skills and attitudes among adults. Our organization considered it essential to expand awareness activities in the field of environmental protection. We were motivated to participate in this project to respond to organizational and community needs, by training trainers capable of promoting sustainability and implementing activities that lead to reducing the negative impact on the environment. We collaborated with EUROPASS SRL and the Eduplus Socio-Educational Association. By participating at 5 training courses and 4 job shadowing activities in Spain, Holland and Belgium, our trainers have developed advanced skills in the field of permaculture, circular economy, ecological education, sustainability, innovative methods of teaching ecological education with the aim of integrating these skills in the development plans of our organization. The main objectives of the project were to develop the competences of the trainers, increase their motivation and improve the activity plans of the organization.
