In order to combat these problems, the project aimed to develop the competences of trainers to work with adults from disadvantaged categories, uneducated, not integrated on the labor market, with reduced digital skills, exposed to social exclusion, identified locally. Practitioners acquired skills in team management, designing relevant learning activities, facilitating the use of tools and work techniques from partner organizations, with expertise in the field of adult education. By diversifying the training offer, after their participation in learning mobilities and the integration of new techniques into the organization's strategy, we developed the skills of the trainees that facilitate their integration on the labor market, increase the percentage of adults who participate in educational activities, and the level of information about lifelong learning opportunities, offered by the European Union, through the Erasmus+ Program.
A team of the Spark Youth Resource Center, an organization located in the southeast region, in Murfatlar, with the village Siminoc, with activity in the field of youth and adult education, identified through direct observation but also through discussions with representatives of local public authorities, such as the Directorate of Social Assistance, the existence of a significant number of people exposed to the risk of social exclusion, due to the lack of basic skills, such as literacy and digitization. Another internal need is the poor professionalization of practitioners in the organization in offering quality training courses to adults, as well as a reduced offer of learning workshops. In order to combat these problems, the project aimed to develop the competences of trainers to work with adults from disadvantaged categories, uneducated, not integrated in the labor market and seniors. The opportunity offered by this program represented the solution that supports community intervention and organizational development.
