Our project focused on innovation and enhancing the attractiveness of vocational education and training. In accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (2, 3, 12, 13), we aimed to promote healthier lifestyles, responsible consumption, and environmental awareness. A key objective was fostering inclusion and international cooperation, ensuring that all students, including those with fewer opportunities, could actively participate. We explored the cultural significance of food, analysed the impact of modern dietary habits, and encouraged healthier choices. During the project, both students and teachers gained valuable knowledge about nutrition, sustainability, and well-being. By integrating these topics into vocational education, we created a meaningful learning experience that not only improved skills but also inspired a long-term commitment to a healthier and more sustainable future.
We applied for this project to bring innovation, inclusion, and an international dimension to education. Our goal was to enhance vocational training while addressing critical health and environmental concerns. Poor nutrition among teenagers, leading to obesity, eating disorders, and related health risks, needed urgent attention. We aimed to educate students on healthy eating, sustainable food choices, and the impact of food production on the environment. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in promoting well-being and responsible consumption. Our project encouraged students to adopt healthier lifestyles, engage in active citizenship, and embrace digital tools for learning. Teachers benefited from new pedagogical approaches and digital content, enhancing the quality of education. By modernizing traditional recipes and exploring organic farming, we connected culture, health, and sustainability, empowering students to make informed food choices for a better future.
