In our country and in many regions of many other countries, migration is taking place due to urbanization and mechanization, and easy ways are being chosen. This situation leads to the aridification of the lands and their transformation into dysfunctional areas when not given enough attention. Considering that 95% of the food we consume today comes from the soil, and that one-third of global soils are currently degraded and unusable, this constitutes a significant loss for the ecosystem. Moreover, this rate is increasing every day by unconscious users. That's why we wanted to carry out our project, because if permaculture is learned by today's youth, a consciousness that can help in the faster recovery of barren lands and obtaining more yield from limited areas can be developed. This will increase the motivation of young people to work in this field and steps supporting the sustainable use of the lands will be taken. Activities and experiences during the project helped young participants increase their knowledge and awareness of permaculture and sustainable living. Thus, we aimed to make significant contributions to the protection and improvement of ecosystems on both local and global scales. In this context, the general purpose of the project was to show young people that permaculture is a holistic design science and to increase the recognition of permaculture by sharing experiences and knowledge about permaculture and sustainable practices. The specific objectives were as follows: 1-Teach permaculture philosophy and design principles to young people 2-Demonstrate the practical applications of permaculture in both urban and rural life 3-Raise awareness among young people about the importance of permaculture in ecological living 4-Create awareness among the local population through the promotion of permaculture in outdoor spaces.
