Objectives

This project targets young people from minority groups aged 18-30 living in Europe. The focal point of the project is the lack of awareness among these young people about human rights, their rights within their communities, and minority rights, leading to social exclusion and inadequate social participation compared to the general population. Therefore, the project addresses this issue by providing young people with a structured education program based on human rights and justice. By organizing educational programs and cultural activities, the aim is to increase awareness of issues such as discrimination, human rights, and civil advocacy, and to build a network. Additionally, cultural events aim to foster cultural integration. The objectives of the Qual Rights, Equal Opportunities project are as follows: • Increase the knowledge and awareness of young people from minority groups about human rights and justice issues. • Enable minority youth to gain social identity by knowing their rights. • Strengthen the social inclusion of minority youth. • Enhance the ability of minority youth to deal with individual and group xenophobia and discrimination. • Use widespread educational techniques to develop advocacy skills among minority youth. • Increase knowledge and skills related to fundamental documents such as the European Union Charter of Fundamental Rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities. • Inform participants about Erasmus+ and EU Youth Programs.
