The Findings We Obtained by Implementing Our Project With our project in Kastamonu, we aimed to promote the use of sport as a tool to prevent and transform violence. We have successfully achieved this goal and thanks to our project, we have contributed to raising people's awareness against the concept of hooliganism, raising awareness that people should protect mutual respect and peace in sports and especially in football, which is very common in our country. With the "Sport is Far from Violence" project we implemented in Kastamonu, we tried to draw attention to the importance of people learning new information about the Erasmus Plus Programme and supporting young people to take part in these projects. In connection with our project topic, we contributed to raising awareness about the fact that the realisation of sports in accordance with the principle of gender equality creates positive results in terms of social welfare. In particular, with our project, which we implemented to raise awareness that the words sports and violence should not be brought together, we contributed to informing and raising awareness of the participants about how sports can play a role in reducing violence through our activities. Objectives Achieved with Our Project *It contributed to raising awareness about what should be done to prevent violence in sports. *By emphasising that violence is contrary to the spirit of sports and leads to negative consequences, it was contributed to the awareness of our participants and target audience on this issue. **Culture interaction was supported. **It was contributed to the eradication of xenophobia.. **Awareness was raised about the content of Erasmus Plus Programmes, the benefits they offer to young people, and the skills they gain through the projects. **The formation of social bonds among the participants was encouraged. **Our participants who came together with different cultures were encouraged for cultural exchange. **Thanks to our project activities, the importance of fair play and ethical values were emphasised. Erasmus Plus Connection **Our goal of raising awareness on the concept of hooliganism was successfully achieved. Both the communication with the local community and the posts made by our participants on their social media accounts were linked to Erasmus Plus' priority of raising awareness about global issues among young people. **Our goal to promote respect and peace in sport was successfully met through our project activities. This goal was in line with the Erasmus Plus priority to promote mutual understanding through dialogue between young people all over the world. **It contributed to raising awareness on the need to ensure gender equality in sport. This was achieved in line with the Erasmus Plus Programme's priority of raising awareness on how sport fosters teamwork, intercultural learning and responsibility. **Thanks to our project activities and cultural activities that align with the priority of Erasmus Plus Programmes to support the fight against prejudice and the development of intercultural awareness, our participants were helped to move away from their prejudices.
