Our project was planned and implemented to draw attention to environmental pollution in general, and plastic waste pollution in particular, and to mobilize young people to fight for a more livable world. Young people from different countries came together locally with our project activities. Our goal with all the activities implemented is; - To draw attention, as young people, to environmental problems, which are one of the most important problems in the world; - To ensure that young people have and develop competence in the fields of environment, recycling, waste management, campaign preparation and implementation; - To enable young people to take action as more sensitive and active individuals, to develop innovative approaches to solutions and to take action as social entrepreneurs; - To enable young people to act as active citizens, as active members of the society in which they live; - It was to enable young people to gain learning experience about different cultures and to eliminate their prejudices about different cultures. Within the scope of our project, which is a youth work, young people from different countries came together and had an intercultural learning experience. They interacted with each other in the spirit of solidarity. They developed skills and attitudes through non-formal education systems. They discovered their entrepreneurial side, developed awareness of social issues, thus becoming active citizens who participate in social life.
