By implementing the project "Enhancing Entrepreneurial Skills of Youth Workers Through Education," we aimed to address the growing issue of youth unemployment across Europe, which was exacerbated by the economic crisis and Covid-19. Our primary objective was to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of youth workers, enabling them to empower young people in their respective communities to create and pursue business opportunities. The key objectives of the project were: Entrepreneurial Skill Development: We sought to increase the knowledge, skills, and competencies of 44 youth workers or experts from 20 participating countries in the field of entrepreneurship. This aimed to enable them to guide and mentor young people in starting their own businesses and entering the labor market. Raising Awareness: We aimed to raise awareness among NGOs working with young people on the importance of youth entrepreneurship, fostering active engagement in this field and enhancing the capacity of youth workers to support entrepreneurship efforts. Promoting Economic Participation: By empowering youth workers, we sought to encourage young people to participate in the economy by creating new job opportunities, thus reducing the negative impacts of youth unemployment at a European level. Capacity Building: We aimed to enhance the capacity of participants and their organizations, not only in the field of entrepreneurship but also in the effective implementation of Erasmus+ projects, fostering multicultural learning environments, and combating xenophobia. Long-term Impact: We sought to ensure that the knowledge and skills gained by the participants would have a lasting impact, encouraging further projects in the field of youth entrepreneurship and contributing to social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and solidarity. These objectives aligned with the broader goals of the Erasmus+ program, promoting active citizenship and addressing the critical issue of youth unemployment through innovative and entrepreneurial solutions.
