With our project, we aimed to address the perceptions of sports activities on young people. We tried to explain that being a fanatic spectator of some sporting activities, especially football, is not and should not be a sport. We tried to explain to young people that being just a spectator and fan is not a sporting activity. We aimed to draw attention to the positive effects of sports activities on physiological and psychological development. Especially traditional sports that are not well known, such as canoeing, mountaineering, handball, swimming, etc. We aimed to increase the popularity of sports branches and to raise awareness among our participants about the benefits of sports life by encouraging young people to turn to these activities. Another important goal of ours was for youth workers from different countries to disseminate the knowledge and experience they gained about different sports branches in their own countries. Another aim of ours is to provide motivation and equipment for youth workers and youth organizations in the promotion of sports other than football. And most importantly, we tried to explain the contributions of positive internalization of the feelings of victory and defeat that sports provide to young people in friendship, trust and solidarity to social harmony and development.
