The project aimed to further professionalize youth and social workers through an expanded form of quality assurance that enables an intensive, detailed exchange. The goals of the project: - working together with young people in public spaces in Berlin/Vienna; Structured exchange about social and youth workers strategies for establishing contact with young people on the street and in public spaces - Exchange regarding the infrastructure, forms of appropriation and needs of young people in public spaces in Berlin/Vienna - Professionalization through exchange of processes, experiences, good practice structures and working methods - Content-based discussion of the topics of gender-sensitive work and democracy education in open settings/street work - Exchange and reflection on the framework conditions of outreach/mobile youth work in Berlin and Vienna that are efficient - Quality assurance regarding detached youth work and streework, social casework, projects on the topics gender-sensitive youth work and democracy education - Further development of youth work
