The pandemic, war, and economic crisis had a wide-ranging impact on people's lives and livelihoods, leading to unemployment persisting for at least five years. Youth sector organizations had called on governments to take urgent action for recovery. In collaboration with our partners, we decided to carry out the "Communities Got Talent" (Co-Goal) youth project, focusing on transforming young people from unemployed individuals into self-employed social entrepreneurs by providing entrepreneurship knowledge and related skills. Co-Goal was an Erasmus+ project aimed at improving the knowledge, skills, and competences of young people in the context of social entrepreneurship. The overall activities were designed to empower young people in social entrepreneurship, helping them overcome their fears and turn their entrepreneurial ideas into reality. The objectives of the project were to develop a sense of social entrepreneurship among young people, strengthen their sense of initiative in the social field to support their communities, and equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to put their initiatives into practice. The project responded to the needs of six partner organizations, supporting young people in the process of integrating into the labor market by developing methods, tools, skills, and knowledge of professional advice and guidance, including entrepreneurial skills. This project aligned with the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, focusing on engaging, connecting, and empowering young people, with a priority on promoting a sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship.
