We aimed to unite young Belgian and Palestinian individuals from diverse cultural, economic, and political backgrounds. Our goal was to help them realize that the similarities between them hold greater significance and strength than their differences, even though these distinctions might be more visibly apparent. Using the universal language of 'Circus,' we intended to facilitate the discovery of shared values and common aspirations. Collaborative training and creation, as well as mutual teaching and learning, would foster strong bonds among the young participants, bolstering their self-esteem. Performing together for an audience would demonstrate that they possess a voice capable of being heard and empower them in exercising their freedom of expression.
