The future of Europe involves both the politicians and the young people who are targeted by the policies and are the real participants in the socio-economic life now and in the years to come. The process of creation, discussion and implementation of youth policies requires the active participation of the people to whom they are aimed, namely the youth. The research conducted on youth activity at the European level shows that young people are still not aware of their power to influence political decisions, and this provoked the NSC, based on its experience and its good partner network, to get involved in the process of developing and implementing follow-up activities that lead to the wider dissemination of the results of the Conference on the Future of Europe and the final report with proposed measures and recommendations. In order to reach more countries and youth organizations, respectively to more young people, we organised a training course for youth workers, in which took part 43 representatives of 7 organizations from 6 countries. The objectives of the project of the National Student Confederation were related to supporting the processes of planning and carrying out follow-up activities of the European countries with the active inclusion and participation of youth organizations, youth workers and young people, as well as promoting European values, democracy and civil participation in decision-making processes. Specific objectives: - Increasing the competence of the participants (knowledge, skills, views, values) for work in the field of European communication, promoting the European Youth Goals and conducting lobbying and advocacy campaigns to popularize and validate the conclusions of the Conference on the Future of Europe, to develop and communicating youth policies to decision makers. - Development and implementation of a mechanism for creating proposals for the reform of European institutions to make them more representative, democratic and accountable to citizens - how and what young people need to make their voices heard. - Raising the awareness of youth organizations and young people about programs and structures supporting work with youth on active European citizenship, including Erasmus +. - Research and study of the links between successful communication and the participation of young people in the public political life of the EU, sharing of successful practices. - Promotion of planning and implementation of activities related to the implementation of the European Youth Goals and affirmation of European values through cooperation between youth organizations. - Increasing the motivation of participants to act as multipliers, to initiate and organize follow-up activities in order to achieve a multiplier effect, development of skills to search for effect and impact of the achieved results. Young people benefited from the results of the project through the youth workers who became mediators between the youth communities and the European institutions. Youth workers developed specific professional skills for leading inter-institutional communication, lobbying, influencing and influencing the decision-making process involving the young people they meet and work with in their daily lives.
