Objectives

The initiative aimed to broaden youth groups' access to partnerships by enhancing youth leadership and promoting their inclusion in public and democratic processes, fostering active European citizenship and a stronger European presence at the local level. Sub-goals: - Developed a toolkit and provided training for youth groups in youth leadership. - Established a network to strengthen leadership competencies. - Enhanced partners' capacity to engage with youth groups by addressing shared needs and priorities.

Background

The main motive for creating the project proposal is the recognition of the importance of youth participation in social processes and the insufficient public efforts to provide young people with opportunities, regardless of their lack of experience. The partners’ previous activities highlight the need to develop young leaders who can drive social engagement.Leadership is crucial in shaping behavior, attitudes, and causes, making it essential to equip young people with relevant skills. The project focuses on providing training, seminars, and discussions to help young people acquire new methods and tools for self-development.This will contribute to reducing deficits in youth social activity and improving their capacity.Additionally, the lack of preparation in key transferable skills such as communication, decision-making,and networking in current education models is a major challenge. By conducting studies and developing a leadership toolkit, the project supports young people's professional growth. It also strengthens partner organizations, enhances expert training, and fosters collaboration with institutions and local authorities.Integrating digital tools will further improve youth digital skills and ensure long-term project effect.
