By implementing this project, we achieved achieve several key objectives that benefitted Ukrainian youth migrants in Europe, particularly those engaged in the cultural and creative sectors, such as musicians, performing artists, and visual artists. We have supported improve the inclusion of Ukrainian migrant youth by increasing their visibility and outreach within their host countries' educational and labour markets initiating a promotional campaign about their skillsets, specifically in the fields of performing and visual arts. We have sought to combat the marginalization of these young artists and provide them with tangible opportunities to thrive in their new environments. Through a promotional campaign highlighting their skills and artistic abilities, we aimed to support their inclusion in both the educational and labor markets of their host countries, helping them build sustainable careers in their respective fields. Another key goal was to promote intercultural dialogue and tolerance through shared cultural experiences. By organizing common events, such as a cultural fest that brings together young artists from Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Spain, we have fostered acts of solidarity and mutual understanding.

With the beginning of the war in February 2022, it became clear that addressing the psychological, social, and cultural challenges these young individuals face is vital to their well-being and integration into host communities. The project’s focus on the cultural and creative sector deeply resonated with us as it provides a unique and impactful way to help these young people feel welcomed, safe, and supported. Through the project we have addressed the need for safe spaces where young refugees can express themselves, share experiences, and develop their talents through artistic and cultural activities. The project also addressed the need to overcome barriers to integration, such as language challenges and social isolation, by fostering intercultural dialogue and organizing events that bring together young refugees and local youth. We have also fought counter misinformation and prevent the development of anti-refugee sentiment in host countries by promoting understanding and shared experiences between communities.
