By implementing this project, we were aiming to enhance the knowledge of young people in Europe regarding the importance of following a sustainable, eco-friendly, and zero-waste lifestyle and encourage them to achieve a positive environmental change in their daily habits. Through innovative approaches and non-formal learning, we seeked to address this alarming issue that young people across Europe are faced with. By engaging with our foreign partners and friends, we have identified that young people in most European countries face similar challenges. Therefore, we decided to implement this youth mobility project in order to exchange experiences and knowledge and contribute towards our mission of promoting sustainable practices and positive environmental changes. Furthermore, we aimed to empower young people with the necessary knowledge and tools to adopt sustainable lifestyles, reduce waste generation and actively contribute to a greener future. The objectives of the project were the following: 1. Enhance the knowledge of young people in Europe about the importance of a sustainable/eco-friendly/zero-waste lifestyle. 2. Achieve a positive environmental change in the daily habits of young people. 3. Raise awareness among young people about pollution, littering, recycling, and the reasons behind climate change. 4. Explore and understand different national realities regarding environmental education among youth in Europe. 5. Share experiences, knowledge, examples, and analyse good practices on sustainability, recycling, waste management, climate actions, and zero-waste lifestyle. 6. Understand the impact of human actions on the planet and the current climate crisis. 7. Promote participation in Erasmus+ projects and help young people discover their European identity.
