Objectives

It particularly promoted young people in rural areas as well as young people willing to explore the entrepreneurial path through hand-made and environmentally friendly crafts. With this project, we wanted to provide both theoretical and practical experience and inspire participants to explore alternative ways of employment. Making use of social media, we maintained a platform of shared practices for facilitating dissemination in our home countries and encourage future collaborations. The overall objective of the project was to increase the knowledge of young people about how to use recycled materials and exchange good practices in the field of using recycling materials in different youth activities. Analytically the objectives of this project were: - foster entrepreneurship - increase creativity and contribute to personal development of participants - Provide theoretical and practical knowledge of environmental friendly crafts and products - Participants teach each other and share from their own experience in using recycled materials in youth activities - Communication in foreign languages: During the cultural evenings and throughout the exchange participants will be exposed to and encouraged to learn at least some basics of each other's language. - Establish European friendships and network amongst participants - Improve cross cultural understanding and European citizenship - Inclusion of people with fewer opportunities: this is a practical workshop with no previous experience or skills required. It is thus welcoming people with fewer opportunities. -improve skills and employability of participants -personal development of participants especially with regards to self-confidence and realization of their strengths and weaknesses -to increase participants wellbeing through the involvent of arts and crafts and the feeling of achievement -to promote social inclusion and include in our group asylum seekers, refugees and immigrants - promote active citizenship by helping the local communities as a way to fight unemployment -establish life-long connections between participants and create collaborations with respect to employment and/or Erasmus+ projects -involve the local community and especially the eldest by sharing their experience with the young people -encourage social inclusion via the practices of agriculture -increase cross-cultural understanding and communication between EU citizens
